WARNING
1.The white wire on the harness cable is the signal wire. Please ensure the harness cable is connected correctly on the gyro before use.
2.Install the gyro on a flat surface and away from the motor to avoid vibrations which affect performance.
3.During power turn-on, ensure other electronic devices do not emit strong vibrations which will cause gyro initialization to fail
RCOMG V6 Gyro Function Description
SW=Switch: Function setting button
1.Changing output direction: In standby mode, press the SW button once for 3 seconds to switch between normal and reverse directions. Adjust this according to your servo and car layout.
2.Changing different curve modes (6 kinds of modes): In standby mode, quick press the Sw button switch the curve mode. The number of times the blue LED flashes corresponds to the curve mode. The different modes are chosen according to different tracks, driving habits and different servo characteristics. Do choose the mode that suits you best.
3.Setting gyro end point limit: Adjust the transmitter steering EPA properly first! Do not use EPA that exceeds the car's physical steering limit.
*Power-off the car before the following steps.
Press and hold the SW button before turning on the power. Power on and release SW button when the Blue and Red LED flash together slowly. Turn steering wheel to full left and press SW button to register left end point limit. Turn steering wheel to full right and press SW button to register right end point limit. When the LED lights turn solid state, the gyro end point limit is set successfully.
4.Resetting gyro end point limit:*Power-off the car before the following steps.
Press and hold the SW button before turning on the power. Power on and HOLD SW button for 3 seconds to reset end point limit. The LED will flash quickly and turn solid to show that the end point limit has reset and initialization is successful.
D=Damper: Anti-shake setting knob is a potentiometer with 240°adjustment range (Arrow position 8 o'clock to 4 o'clock). The factory default is 12 o' clock (Arrow point up).
Turn the arrow anticlockwise to increase shaking and servo speed, tum the arrow clockwise to decrease shaking and servo speed. Adjust the damping according to different servos, track surface, chassis settings and steering shaking conditions to find the setting that suits you best.
P=Priority: Steering wheel priority function is to increase gyro control when it is turned down, and increases steering wheel control when it is turned up. The steering wheel priority can be freely adjusted from 0.325 to 1.25 (Adjust according to different servos, track surface, chassis settings and steering shaking conditions to find the setting that suits you best.)
ST: Connect servo
RX: Connect to receiver CH1
CH3: Gyro gain
CH3 needs to be connected to the receiver CH3 or other channels. This function reduces gyro gains when it is turned down, and increases gyro gains when it is turned up.
When the channel value is 50%, the gain is zero. (Adjust the gain according to different servos, track surface, chassis settings and steering shaking conditions to find the setting that suits you best.)
CH4 Channel: EPA Travel Fine-Tuning
The CH4 is used for fine-tuning the EPA travel angle of the gyroscope. Based on the preset EPA travel angle, it allows for ±4 degrees of adjustment. This feature helps achieve better drift angles by adapting to different chassis and surfaces with varying resistance.
